Abstract:
Taking Prunus persica var.nectariana cv.shuguang as material,the effects of applying calcium in soil on fruit quality and physiology characteristics of nectarine during storage periods were studied in greenhouse.The results showed that,applying Ca(NO3)2 in soil could improve the fruit quality of nectarine under protected culture obviously during storage.The treatment decreased the soften rate of fruit and delayed the soften time;it also decreased the decompose rate of soluble sugar,titratable acid,vitamin C and remained their content at high level.It suggested that applying Ca nutrition in soil could improve flavors and nutritive quality and storability of fruit during storage.
