Abstract:
Taking 8-year-old ‘Xuxiang’ kiwifruit(Actinidia chinensis) trees as test material,the changes of vertical and transverse diameter，growth of volume，fresh weight in single fruit during the development were studied.The results showed that the growth of vertical and transverse diameter of ‘Xuxiang’ kiwifruit could be divided into rapid slow-stop three periods.The rapid increasing period was about from the May 9-th to the June 7-th.The slow increasing period wasabout from the June 7-th to the September 9th.The stop increasing period was about from the September 9-th to the October 15-th.The growth of fresh weight of the fruit could be divided into four periods.The rapid increasing period was about from the May 9-th to the June 17-th.The faster increasing period was about from the June 17-th to the July 23-th.The slow increasing period was about from the July 23-th to the September 29-th.The stop increasing period was about from the September 29-th to the October 15-th.The growth of volume of the fruit could be divided into three periods.The rapid increasing period was about from the May 9-th to the June 17-th.The slow increasing period was about from the June 17-th to the September 24-th.The stop increasing period was about from to the September 24-th to the October 15-th.There were three peaks in the net growth curves of the vertical and transverse diameter of the fruit，and the peaks appear in the same time which were on the May 24-th，July 1-st and September 2-nd.There were four growth peaks in the net growth peaks of fresh fruit weight and fruit volume.The peaks of the fresh weight appear to be on June 13-th,July 20-th,September 14-th and October 4-th，while peaks of the fruit volume appear on June 13-th,July 20-th,August 14-th and September 24-th.
