Abstract:
Using tomato ‘Huangguan’ as test material，the basic physical and chemical properties of 3 kinds of different substrates (T1)，(T2)，(T3) were determinated，and the effect of different substrates on the growth of tomato seedling were studied.The results showed that based on the different substrates，root length，ground and underground stem fresh weight，seedling index，total chlorophyll content，G value index of T1 cultivated tomato seedlings was superior to that of T2，T3；T3 was the minimum，but water retention porosity，EC values of T2 were more than T1，T3；therefore，T1 had the best effect on tomato seedling.
