Abstract:
Taking‘Italy108’lettuceastestmaterial,theeffectsofthecombinedapplicationofnitrogen(N)andmagnesium(Mg),theinfluencesofapplicationofureaandMgfertilizersonthebiomassyieldandqualityofLettucewereinvestigatedunderfieldconditions.TheresultsshowedthatthecombinedapplicationofproperureaandMgfertilizercansignificantincreaseyield,thecontentsofvitaminC,reducingsugarandsolublesolidandreducethenitratecontentoflettuce.Withtherateofureaincrease,thenitratecontentandtheuptakeofN,P,K,CaandMgbyweresignificantincreased,whereas,thecontentsofvitaminCandsolublesolid,andtheuptakeofCaandMgbylettuceweredeclined.ThenitratecontentandtheuptakeofN,P,K,CaandMgbylettuceweresignificantincreasedwhenMgfertilizerwasapplied.TheinteractionbetweenNandMghadsignificanteffectontheyield,solublesugarcontent,anduptakeofN,P,CaandMgbylettuce,andnitrate-Ncontentinsoilafterharvest.ThisstudyindicatedthatthecombinedapplicationofproperureaandMgfertilizercouldincreasetheyield,raisethecontentsofvitaminC,reducingsugarandsolublesolid,reducenitrateaccumulation,andimprovequalityoflettuce.
