Abstract:
Thedistributioncharacteristics,variabilitiesandcorrelationwitheconomiccharacterofArmeniacavulgarisseedlingswereanalyzedinPengyangCountyofNingxiaHuiAutonomousRegion.Theresultsindicatedthat30majorquantitativecharactersofArmeniacavulgaris,youngshoots,flowers,leaves,fruit,kerne,almondandsoon,werenormaldistribution.Coefficientofvariationoflengthofyoungshootswasthehighestwhichattained39.8%,pistildevelopmentlevelcamesecondwhichattained38.4%,othercoefficientsofvariationthatwerehigherthan20%werefruitweigh,lengthofinternode,rateofkernel,almondweigh,kernelweigh,widthofpericarp.Thecorrelatedquantitativecharacterswitheconomiccharacterswerelengthandwidthofyoungshoots,lengthofleaves/lengthofpetiol,lengthofleaves,lengthandwidthofpetiole,pistildevelopmentlevel,flowerdiameter,thenumberofstamens,lengthandwidthoffruit,thicknessofpericarp,weightoffruit,fruit-formindexandsoon.Combininganalysiswithvariationandrerelationofcharacters,lengthandwidthofyoungshoots,lengthandwidthofpetiole,pistildevelopmentlevel,thicknessofpericarp,weightoffruitweretakenasmajorindicatorsofquantitativecharactersforindirectselectionofhigh-yieldingArmeniacavulgaris.
