In order to speed up processing tomato breeding，the immature seeds were collected 14~30 d after pollination in processing tomatoes.The immature seeds were grown on the different media under different culture conditions.The transplanting methods were also tested in this study.The results showed that immature seed germination rate was high on 1/2B5 or 1/2MS medium about 25 d after pollination.It took 20 days from the immature seeds culutre to transplanting.The seedlings can be strong after 15 days after transplanting,and then transplanted to field.Generally，it took 60 days from pollination to harvesting seeds.Therefore，each generation growth period by immature seeds culture could be saved 50~60 d.And 3~5 generations can be ontained in 1 year by this method.
