Abstract:
The effects of different explants,different concentration of the hormone and different seeding age on the regeneration of watermelon were studied using ‘honor 4010’ watermelon as materials.The results showed that the cotyledon cultured for 3 days had the highest regeneration frequency of 96.7%,when it was placed in the MS+BA 4.0 mg/L+NAA 0.1 mg/L.The optimum rooting medium was 1/2MS+IBA 0.4 mg/L and the rate of inducement arrived at 100.0%.
