Research on the Propagation Technique of Ilex dabieshanensis(PDF)

Abstract:: Effects of the cuttingage, cutting seasons, kinds of substrate, the kinds and concentrations of rooting hormones on the rooting of Ilex dabieshanensis were studied. The results showed that the appropriate cutting factors were 1 year cuttings, cutting in July, mixing substrate of peat soil and pearlite, and IBA with the concentration of 2 000 mg/L. The cuttingage and cutting seasons were the main factors influencing the rooting rate of Ilex dabieshanensis.
