Abstract:
‘Jinyuanqie No.5’ is a new eggplant F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred lines ‘338-1-2-1-3’ as female parent and ‘339-1-2-1-1’ as male parent．The first flower sets on the 9th node．The fruit is nearly round with 12.5 cm diameter and 11.0 cm length.The single fruit weight is about 555 g．The fruit color is black and bright．The flesh is delicate and light green in color．It has good taste and good commodity.It has good fruit setting ability and strong disease resistance in facilities with low temperature.Its average yield per 667 m2 is 7 853.8 kg，which is 14.4% higher than the control.It is suitable to be cultivated in greenhouse in early spring in the eggplant producing area of Shanxi Province.
