Abstract:
In order to investigate the developmental strategies and pathways for realizing the distinct features of Jiangxi′s flower industry in the new era，a comprehensive study was conducted，leveraging a substantial collection of data on the industry.This study synthesized methods such as literature analysis，field surveys，and interviews，providing a systematic examination of the development of Jiangxi′s flower industry.The objective was to dissect the characteristics and challenges encountered in its growth and formulate corresponding strategies to foster high-quality development.The results showed that，while the development scale of Jiangxi′s flower industry had stabilized，marked by the establishment of an overall industry layout known as ‘one circle，two belts，multiple points’，several issues persisted.Notably，the specialization of industrial clusters and the optimization of the industrial chain required further attention.Moreover，the coexistence of structural surpluses in traditional seedlings and shortages of novel，high-quality varieties presented challenges.The exploitation of unique wild flower resources was limited，and the integration and advancement of tertiary industry development fell short of optimal levels.Additionally，the distinctiveness and intersectoral integration of the industry′s development remained underdeveloped.Consequently，a series of recommendations were formulated，emphasizing the optimization of the industrial layout into ‘one circle，two belts，three districts，and multiple points’.Additionally，enhancing the development of local wild flower resources and promoting germplasm innovation were proposed.The research also urged accelerating the adoption and dissemination of new varieties and technologies，establishing standardized industrial system norms encompassing flower production，product inspection，post-harvest handling，and transportation.Furthermore，it advised upgrading trading markets，extending the flower industry chain，nurturing leading enterprises，and reinforcing brand building efforts.A key strategic recommendation was the adherence to an integrated ‘flower-culture-tourism’ development approach，aimed at propelling the development of Jiangxi′s flower industry towards high-quality，characteristic-driven growth.This approach was envisioned to contribute significantly to rural revitalization efforts.
