Abstract:
Based on the perspective of digital inclusive finance,panel data from 29 provinces and autonomous regions in China for the period 2011—2020 were used to analyze in depth the feasible paths of agricultural green development in the context of the digital economy,based on measuring the level of agricultural green development in China.The results showed that,the baseline regression results indicated that digital inclusive finance could effectively promote agricultural green development,and this conclusion still held after a series of robustness tests;the results of the heterogeneity analysis showed that the depth of financial use had the greatest impact on agricultural green development,the digitization degree of inclusive finance was the second largest,and the breadth of financial coverage was the smallest;the impact of digital inclusive finance on agricultural green development was the largest in the central region,the second largest in the eastern region,and the smallest in the western region.The mediation effect regression results showed that digital inclusive finance could promote agricultural green development by promoting agricultural green technology progress.Accordingly,this study proposed that the construction of rural digital infrastructure should be improved,the development strategy of digital inclusive finance should be formulated according to local conditions,and the progress of agricultural green technology should be improved,in order to promote the realization of sustainable development of agriculture in China.
