Abstract:
At present,China′s flower industry with virtue of its rich natural resources and long history and culture,continues to promote the new journey of realising ‘ecological wealth and beautiful China’.This study quantified the international competitiveness of the flower industry by using three indicators,namely,market share in international market (MS),trade competitiveness index (TC) and revealed comparative advantage index (RCA),and constructed a comprehensive international competitiveness index of the flower industry based on the entropy method of the weights of the above indicators from the international perspective.The results showed that the international competitiveness of our flower industry still had great development potential,and the road to promote the high-quality development of the flower industry in our country was long.It put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestioned in terms of improving the quality of flower products,promoting cross-border ecommerce exports,strengthening the capacity of cold-chain logistics,and increasing the cultivation of talents to enhance the international competitiveness of China′s flowers.
