Abstract:
Taking 9 ornamental peony species (Paeonia lactiflora Pall.) as test materials,based on the field experiments,the growth and physiological characteristics of introduced in Mentougou mountainous area in Beijing were studied,in order to provide reference for Beijing mountainous areas to introduce suitable ornamental peony species.The results showed that ornamental peony species such as ‘Dafugui’ ‘Chongshengfen’ ‘Zifengyu’ ‘Hongxiuqiu’ ‘Shajingguanding’ had relatively good physiological and ecological adaptability after introduction in Mentougou area.Their survival rate,growth characteristics,leaf characteristics,photosynthetic characteristics and other indicators were superior to other species making them suitable for application and promotion in mountainous areas in Beijing.
