Abstract:
‘Hang Eggplant No1’ was used as material,the CHS gene was cloned by RT-PCR,and the structure and function of the protein encoded by the CHS gene were analyzed by DNAMAN,MEGA 7.0.26 and some online websites,in order to provide reference for the study of the significance of chalcone synthase gene CHS in the growth and development of eggplant and the biosynthesis and molecular mechanism of plant flavonoids,and also enrich the related studies of CHS superfamily in dicotyledons.The results showed that the full length of CHS gene encoded protein was 1 170 bp,and it was predicted that CHS gene might be located in cytoplasm.The phylogenetic analysis showed that aubergine eggplant,tomato,mango,coffee and nightshade were in the same branch,and they all belong to nightshade family.
