Abstract:
‘Shuishiying No.20’ Chinese cabbage is a new hybrid developed by cytoplasmic male sterile lines ‘BYN1A’ as female parent,which sterility degree and sterility rate are both 100%,self-incompatible lines ‘BYN6’ as male parent.The plant has strong growth vigor and is tolerant of high temperature.It is of early maturity and the growth period is 52-55 days in summer and autumn open field cultivation at Dalian area.The plant shape is cylindrical with greyish-green and slightly wrinkled outer leaves,light green petiole,42 cm in height and 59 cm in width.The top of outer leaves are upright and leaf sphere are wrap up loosely.The height of the head is 31 cm,diameter is 17 cm,and the index of plant shape is 1.8.The net weight of individual plant is 2.8 kg,head is 1.9 kg,and the ratio of net product is 67%.The average yield is about 67.5 t?hm-2.It is suitable for cultivation in Dalian from June to July.
