Abstract:
The new pumpkin variety ‘Baimi No.10’ is an early maturity variety which is crossbred between inbred line TYMB4C1 as female parent and inbred line AZ1368 as male parent.The species has a strong growth and many branches，the main，lateral branches can produce fruits，The first female flower sets on the 11th-12th node，the fruit setting ability is strong and produce fruit continuously，medium，small melon-shaped，fruit dumbbell shaped.Tender melon is green with white patches and old cooked melon is orange-brown in color，have orange flesh，It has the characteristics of fine texture，excessive sweetness and excellent quality.Each young melon weighs from 0.75 kg to 1.00 kg，each old melon weights about 2.89 kg，The yield per 667 m2 is about 3 578.87 kg.The variety shows resistance to downy mildew，powdery mildew and virus disease.It is suitable for planting in Henan and Huang-Huai River areas.
