Abstract:
Taking ‘Haiqiezhen No.1’ as material,the effects of temperature and time on seed germination and seedling growth of cherry tomato root-stock under different dry heat treatment were studied,in order to provide science basis for the production of cherry tomato grafted seedlings in Hainan.The results showed that germination percentage and germination rate were decreased significantly or very significantly with the temperature and time of dry heat treatment increased.As the increasing temperature,the germination potential and germination index were increased first and decreased after wards,but was decreased to time.The suitable dry heat treatment was beneficial to seed germination,but had no significant effect on seedling growth.The optimal treatment was T6,the germination potential,germination percentage,germination index and germination rate were 89.3%,97.8%,44.35 and 96.1% respectively.They were increased to 45.8 percent points,2.2 percent points,11.92 and 1.3 percent points in base of CK.
