Abstract:
Pleurotus ostreatus monokaryons strains ‘Huimei No.2’ was mutagenized with five concentration gradients of colchicine.To explore the effect of different colchicine concentrations on Pleurotus ostreatus monokaryons strains,the treated strains were investigatedby means of antagonistic experiment,growth of mycelium,fruiting test,and spores nucleic acid content after fruiting,and observation on mycelial morphology of mushroom strains,in order to provide reference for mutation breeding of colchicine edible fungi.The results showed that there was inordinately antagonism between the mutagenesis strain with the CK,and the strains (treated by 0.01% colchicine) had the fastest growth rate,and the mycelia were dense with neat edges.The fruiting test showed that the yield of the treated strains were significantly lower than CK,while there was no significant difference in other agronomic traits and spores nucleic acid content from CK,and Pleurotus ostreatus
