Abstract:
Three-year-old Juglans regia ‘Wen185’ walnut seedling was selected as the test material, through the pot experiments, the effects of photosynthetic characteristics of walnut seedlings at nitrogen supply (NH4NO3) levels were studied to figure out what optimum nitrogen supply condition of walnut seedling. In order to provide a reference for the study of environmental response and adaptation mechanism of walnut seedlings, and provide a scientific basis for guiding the rational fertilization of high-yield walnuts. The results showed that nitrogen supply walnut that diurnal variation of net photosynthetic rate (Pn),stomatal conductance (Gs) and transpiration rate (Tr)of walnut seedling leaves treated with nitrogen all exhibited double curve of ‘ascending-descending-ascending-descending’ and there are significant ‘lunch break’ phenomenon;as the level of nitrogen supply increases the net photosynthetic rate(Pn),stomatal conductance(Gs)and transpiration rate (Tr) all exhibited it first increased and then decreased, both reaching the maximum at the level of 8N (P<0.05).However,the intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) value decreased with the increase of nitrogen concentration. The photosynthetic capacity of walnut seedling could be improved by increasing nitrogen supply level, but too high or too low nitrogen supply strip was not conducive to the growth of walnut seedlings;in general,8N (8 mmol?L-1 NH4NO3) treatment was the most suitable for walnut seedling growth.
