Abstract:
Two-year-old ‘Tunisia’ soft seed pomegranate in cold shed was used as material,the changes of soil temperature,plant growth and osmotic regulation substances near the root of soft seed pomegranate were studied by using three kinds of cold prevention measures.In order to screen out the better cold prevention measures.The rsults showed that at the lowest temperature,the soil temperature at 10 cm depth near the roots of the three treated soft seed pomegranate was higher than that of the control group;the death rate of plants treated with straw+cotton quilt and straw+black film was the lowest,the branches would be mildewed after the treatment of soil covering and straw cotton quilt,straw+cotton quilt and straw+black film treatment of the new shoot draining rate was lowest;the changes of relative conductivity and proline content were consistent with the results of comprehensive evaluation and it can be used as an effective criterion to evaluate the cold resistance of soft seed pomegranate.Based on the comprehensive analysis,the protective effects of several cold prevention measures were ranked as follows,straw+black film>straw+quilt>turns the soil>control.
