- Abstract:
- 16071 is bred from the sterile line 12-63AR as the female parent,RAO108 as the maintainer line and CHR as the male parent by Jiuquan Institute of Agricultural Sciences.In 2018—2019,the average yield is 99 424.5 kg?hm-2,which is 8.6% higher than that of the check ‘Hongmei’（91 555.5 kg?hm-2）in more trials regional test in Gansu Province.It is a late maturing cultivar,false stem height is 95 cm,strong growth potential,round ball bulbs,skin purple,single ball quality is 293.0 g,moderate shut,good hardness,not easy peeling,more than 7.0 cm commodity rate average is 95%.It is suitable to be grown in Hexi corridor in Gansu Province and onions planted area in other regions of similar ecological conditions.
