A new big-size watermelon F1 hybrid ‘Aihua No.2’ is bred by crossing W30-3 as female parent and S39 as male parent.Its characterizes are robust growth and medium maturity.The growing period is 93 days and fruit development is 34 days.The fruit is large globe shaped，dark green with black stripes，dense fruit powder，hard peel，storage and transport resistance，and dark red flesh.In normal condition，the soluble solid content in center and near skin are 12.7% and 9.7% respectively.It is moderate resistant to Fusarium wilt and bacterial fruit rot.It is a high yield variety.The average single fruit weight is 9.25 kg，and the yield is 6 073 kg per 667 m2.
