Abstract:
The alpine plant resources in the Altay Mountains of Xinjiang were studied,to investigate and analyze the wild plant species with field survey.The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was utilized to construct the evaluation index system for ornamental value of alpine wild plant resources,and the weight of evaluation indices were calculated using the software Yaaph 10.1,in order to screen out excellent ornamental plants,more choices were provided for the creation of garden landscapes.The results showed that there were 226 species of ornamental plants in Altay Mountains,belonging to 138 genera of 45 families,among which Leguminosae,Compositae and Rosaceae was the most abundant.Among the 16 evaluation factors of the evaluation system,leaf color (P5),flower color (P6) and stress resistance (P10) provide most of contribution to ornamental value.By this evaluation system,25 gradeⅠfine ornamental species including Viola mirabilis, Polygala hybrida, Erythronium sibiricum,Trollius altaicus, Aquilegia sibirica, Iris bloudowii and Delphinium shawurense.
