Abstract:
Most of the poverty-stricken areas in China at this stage are in the development-restricted regions.The development of local characteristic poverty alleviation industries according to local conditions is an important focus for achieving poverty alleviation in deeply impoverished areas.Yanling County,Hunan Province,based on the endowment of local factors,have developed a characteristic yellow peach industry,which have significantly improved the county′s economic benefits and poverty reduction effectiveness.However,under the horizontal inter-governmental competition,the sustainable development of characteristic poverty alleviation industries faces huge challenges currently.Therefore,it was proposed to promote the development of poverty alleviation industries by establishing an orderly competition environment.On the one hand,the superior government should strengthen the top-level design of the poverty alleviation industry and promote the complementary development of characteristic industry chains;on the other hand,the horizontal level government should promote awareness of the cooperation,push the development of regional industrial agglomeration,and build a monitoring mechanism to avoid the homogeneous development of poverty alleviation industries.At the same time,the country should make the laws and regulations on the protection of agricultural product brands,and then promote the heterogeneous development of poverty alleviation industries,and explore a regional coordinated development path for regional characteristic agricultural poverty alleviation industries.
