- Abstract:
- ‘Sheng Qing Yi Hao’, a new fruit radish F1 hybrid, is crossed by HSR54A and HS1356,an excellent paternal parent. Mother line,HSR54A, is a self bred sterility line of radish. The flesh of root is emerald green, delicate, sweet and crisp. The skin of root is little spicy. It takes about 70 days from sowing to maturity. The Root length is 22-27 cm. The root diameter is 6-8 cm and the root weight is 0.8-1.1 kg. They are prominent features of this variety. The resistance to soft rot disease in the field is better than that in the control group‘Cheng Yang Qing’. It is suitable for cultivation in greenhouse in spring and land in autumn in north China
