Abstract:
The suspension cell of Tagetes patula L.were taken as test materials and cultured in liquid medium which was added with different concentration H2O2 to study the effects of exogenous hydrogen peroxide on flavonoid content and antioxidant enzymes actitvty of suspension cells of of Tagetes patula L..The results showed that the content of total flavonoids in suspension cells of Tagetes patula L.showed an upward trend within the range of 0-10 mmol?L-1 H2O2,it had the highest with 10 mmol?L-1 H2O2,and with high concentration of H2O2 showed a declining trend.The change of antioxidant enzyme activity also showed a trend of increasing and then decreasing with the concentration of H2O2.The MDA content,SOD activity,CAT activity,POD activity and proline content were significantly increased in the range of 0-10 mmol?L-1 H2O2 and decreased in the range of 15-25 mmol?L-1 H2O2.
