Abstract:
With ‘Marigold No.1’ and different parts of the plant as test materials, the nematicidal acitivity of marigold on root-knot nematode was studied by in vitro bioassay and pot experiment,so as to evaluate its control efficiency. The results showed that the ‘Marigold No.1’ plant had strong nematicidal activity, and 1.400% of the extracts treated the nematode with a corrected mortality rate of 94.51%.The virulence equation was y=-0.524+2.045x,r=0.986,LC50=1.803 mg?mL-1.The inhibitory effects of plant extracts on root-knot nematodes were different in different parts. The nematicidal activity were flower, root, stem and leaf (the difference between flower and root inhibition effect were not significant (P<0.05)).1.400% of the ground pulverized material could significantly reduce the density of insects in the soil, and the rootworm inhibition rate was 79.16% obtained by pot experiment. The above results indicates that the ‘Marigold No.1’ plant additive had certainly feasible and effective in controlling root-knot nematode.
