Abstract:
‘Jinyou 35’ cucumber was used as test material in a solar greenhouse.The cucumber plants were treated with nighttime irradiation,and no light was added as a control.The test used a discontinuous irradiation method,and the UVA irradiation intensity was 60 μW?cm-2,and the irradiation time was 0,3,4,5 h?d-1,respectively.In order to find out the effects of different irradiation time on the occurrence of cucumber downy mildew and plant growth.The results showed that with the increase of UVA irradiation time,the effect of promoting cucumber growth and resistance to downy mildew was more obvious.After 20 days of UVA irradiation,the control effect was as high as 85.92%.The photosynthetic pigment content increased with the increase of UVA irradiation time.The plant height,stem diameter and leaf area were 36.05%,42.17%,47.01% higher than CK after UVA irradiation for 5 h?d-1.The cross-stalk,single fruit quality and fruit shape index of the fruits treated by UVA irradiation were 94.44%,84.21%,18.60% higher than those of CK,respectively.Under UVA radiation of 5 h?d-1.POD activity was significantly higher than that of CK after 14 days and 21 days,respectively,which was 80.53% and 89.12%.UVA radiation was 5 h?d-1.After 21 days treatment,the PAL activity was significantly higher than 0,3,4 h?d-1,which was 4.64 U?g-1?min-1>2.48 U?g-1?min-1>3.68 U?g-1?min-1>4.35 U?g-1?min-1.At night exposure at 5 h?d-1,the flavonoid content was significantly different from CK at 7,14,21 days,respectively,20.77%,67.42%,89.37% higher than CK.
