Abstract:
Strawberry is a highly perishable fruit due to higher moisture content and structure fragility.This results in jeopardize its industrial development.With the expansion of strawberry planting area in China and the increasing requirements of consumer for pollution-free food,more attention has focused on a safe post-harvest preservation technology of strawberry.As an emerging and safe non-thermal technology,light treatment has great potential in extending shelf life of strawberry.This study attempted to give a review about the influence of light on the nutrition,antioxidant and disease resistance of strawberry,in order to provide a reference for the preservation of strawberry after harvest.
