Abstract:
The eggplant(Solanum melongena L.)parthenocarpic lines D-10,D-21 and non-parthenocarpic line 03-2 were taken as materials,the relationship between the change of endogenous hormones(IAA,GA4,ZR,ABA) contents during fruit developmemt and the fruit size were studied under natural low temperature by using natural pollination,artificial pollination and removing stigmas methods.The results showed that the fruit of parthenocarpic lines (D-10 and D-21) grew normally under three pollination methods and non-parthenocarpic line (03-2) were only in the condition of artificial pollination.In the early fruit development of eggplant,the contents of IAA,ABA and ABA/(IAA+GA4+ZR) in parthenocarpic lines were higher than 03-2.The contents of IAA and ZA in ovary(fruit) during pre-fruit development were higher than later fruit developmet in parthenocarpic lines and non-parthenocarpic line.There was no obvious regularity in the change of GA4 content in parthenocarpic lines and non-parthenocarpic line with three pollination methods.In the early fruit development,the contents of IAA,GA4 and ABA were improved by artificial pollination in non-parthenocarpic line 03-2 which were benefit for fruit development,while the contents of ZR and ABA/(IAA+GA4+ZR) were not effect.The contents of ABA and ABA/(IAA+GA4+ZR) were lower in non-parthenocarpic line 03-2 during fruit development by using natural pollination,artificial pollination.The high contents of IAA and ABA were benefit to fruit development and seedless during early fruit development.
