Abstract:
Asparagus is an edible and medicinal vegetable with high value,which was introduced into China from Europe in the 20th century and was planted on a large scale in the early 1970 s.At present,Chinese cultivation area and export volume are more than 50% of the total world.In recent years,there have been many studies on the breeding,cultivation,pharmacology,harvesting and processing of Asparagus at home and abroad,but rarely researches on Asparagus seeds.In this paper,seeds about the morphological characteristics,chemical composition,biological characteristics,resistance characteristics and evaluation and identification of germplasm resources were reviewed in order to provide reference for further research and utilization.
