Abstract:
Two kidney beans (P6,P24) and two vegetable soybeans (M4,M6) were used as test materials.The effects of different Cd2+ concentrations on the physiology of four kinds of legumes were studied with hydroponic method.With the increase of Cd concentration,the root length,plant height and fresh weight of the plant were reduced to some extent.The tolerance index of plants was reduced,and there was no significant difference of P24,P6,M6 compared with control,the Cd tolerance of M4 and M6 was higher than P6 and P24.Plant height was positively correlated with root length,correlation coefficient was 0.58.There was a very significant positive correlation with the fresh weight of the plant,with a correlation coefficient of 0.77.In addition,as the concentration of Cd stress increases,the content of chlorophyll decreased.
