Abstract:
A new variety ‘Green Bean No.2’ of Phaseolus vulgaris L. was taken as material, the contents of chlorophyll, soluble protein, soluble sugar, free proline(Pro),malondialdehyde(MDA) and peroxidase activity(POD) in leaves were measured under different shade degree and shade time. The changes of leaf physiological indexes in different shade degree use the methods of comparing, analyzing and studying, which provided basis data for management and measures of optimal cultivation kidney bean. The results indicated that ‘Green Bean No.2’ could grow normall under different shade condition, total chlorophyll content increased with the increase of shade degree, chlorophyll a/b value decreased with the increase of shade degree.Leaves of Phaseolus vulgaris L.under the treatment of the shade CK,the accumulation of soluble protein content,short-term shade treatment was beneficial to the increase of the content of soluble sugar, but long-term shade was the disadvantage of soluble sugar accumulation;POD activity of leaves showed a trend of ‘W’ type change with the increase of shade time;proline(Pro) content was not obvious under different lighting conditions, the law of change was not obvious either.Raising of malondialdehyde(MDA) content under high shading conditions showed that it was effective on plant under stress.
