- Abstract:
- To detect the effect of presoaking with different exogenous hormones on germination and seedling growth of summer squash seeds,different concentration of GA3(50 mg·L-1,100 mg·L-1,150 mg·L-1),Uniconazole (3 mg·L-1,6 mg·L-1,9 mg·L-1) and salicylic acid (0.5 mmol·L-1,0.75 mmol·L-1,1.00 mmol·L-1) were used to treat ‘Biqing’ and ‘Lyuye’ summer squash seeds as exogenous hormone for soaking 12 hours,to detect the effect of presoaking with different exogenous hormones on germination and seedling growth of summer squash seeds，and to provide reference for breeding strong seeding.The results showed that GA3(50 mg·L-1),Uniconazole(6 mg·L-1) and salicylic acid (0.50 mmol·L-1) could significantly increase the germination energy and germination of ‘Biqing’.GA3(50 mg·L-1) and Uniconazole(6 mg·L-1) significantly increased the germination energy and germination of ‘Lyuye’,different concentrations of salicylic acid significantly inhibited the germination energy of ‘Lyuye’,but significantly increased the germination.50 mg·L-1 of GA3,6 mg·L-1 of Uniconazole and 0.50 mmol·L-1 of salicylic acid could significantly improve thickness of stem,root dry weight,seedling index and chlorophyll content of ‘Biqing’ and ‘Lyuye’ seedling,the treatment acquired strong seedling effect.In conclusion,germination and seedling growth of summer squash seeds under different concentrations of exogenous hormones were significantly different,Uniconazole(6 mg·L-1),GA3(50 mg·L-1),salicylic acid (0.50 mmol·L-1) performed better than others.
