- Abstract:
- 28 cultivars of ornamental calabash were taken as materials,RAPD sequences were amplified to analysis the polymorphism and the genetic relationship of them,to provide reference for molecular breeding,resources protection and utilization identification of ornamental calabash.The results showed that total 111 bands were amplified by 18 primers,in which 102 bands were polymorphic,the percentage of polymorphic band was 91.89%.The genetic distance of individual was from 0.32 to 0.89 by UPGMA phylogenetic tree.28 ornamental calabash cultivars were divided into three subgroups at L1 (GS=0.45),and they could be classified into eleven subgroups at L2 (GS=0.722).It was indicated that the polymorphisms of ornamental calabash cultivars at molecular level and their phylogenetic relationships were correlated with morphology.
