- Abstract:
- The germination indexes as germination percentage, germination potential, germination index and vigor index of 25 flowers were measured under different concentrations of PEG solution and NaCl to evaluate and screen the seeds resistance under drought and salt stress. The results indicated that all the germination rates, germination potential, germination index and vigor index of the seeds decreased on the trend under two stress. The top 5 flowers with drought resistance were selected, which were Impatiens balsamina,Monarda didyma,Salvia superba,Salvia japonica,Celosia cristata var.pyramidalis ‘Shiji’.The top 5 flowers with salt resistance were selected, that were Malva sinensis,Salvia superba,Impatiens balsamina,Papaver rhoeas,Celosia cristata var.pyramidalis ‘Shiji’.The top 5 flowers with abiotic resistance were identified, which were Impatiens balsamina,Salvia superba,Malva sinensis,Salvia japonica,Celosia cristata var.pyramidalis ‘Shiji’.The conclusions could provide a primary theoretical basis for application of flowers for flower sea.
