Abstract:
In order to provide reference for the utilization of pomegranate varieties,the fruit quality and texture quality of different skin color and flavor of pomegranate were studied.The results showed that fruit weight of the ‘Daqingpitian’ was about 509.56 g,that was the largest fruit variety of pomegranate.‘Dahongpitian’ and ‘Qingpisuan’ were the larger fruit varieties,and ‘Hongpisuan’ was the medium fruit variety.The aril weight changed from 30.03-33.27 g,all the varieties were the medium aril.The juice of ‘Qingpisuan’ was the highest,up to 81.19%.The soluble solids content of all the varieties reached the excellent variety.There was a close relationship between the fruit color,fruit flavors and the acid components of the varieties.In the same color of pomegranate cultivars,reduced ascorbic acid content in sweet pomegranate cultivars was significantly higher than that of acid pomegranate cultivars.The content of citric acid in sweet pomegranate was significantly higher than that of sour pomegranate.Higher content of malic acid was found in sour pomegranate cultivars.Seed hardness of sour pomegranate was higher than that of sweet pomegranate.Sweet pomegranate tasted better than sour pomegranate cultivars.Seed hardness of pomegranate in turn were ‘Qingpisuan’‘Hongpisuan’‘Dahongpitian’ and ‘Daqingpitian’.The value of seed hardness were 5 538.93 g,4 768.97 g,2 961.44 g and 2 402.88 g respectively,‘Daqingpitian’ tasted the best.
