Abstract:
The seeds of two tomato varieties,‘Deguan Ⅰ’ and ‘Baiguo Qiangfeng’,were conducted with different concentrations (0,30,60,90,120,150 mmol·L-1) of NaCl.Meanwhile,the seeds germination related indexes were measured,and the effect of NaCl salt stress on the germination of tomato seeds was studied.The results showed that the germination rate,germination index,germination vigor index and seedling growth index of tomato under salt stress had a certain decline,which was negatively correlated with salt concentration,the more the salt concentration was,the more obvious the indexes decreased.Only the relative injury rate was positively correlated with salt concentration.The salt tolerance of ‘Deguan Ⅰ’ was better than that of ‘Baiguo Qiangfeng’.Under this experimental condition,the optimum salt tolerance of tomato was below 60 mmol· L-1.
