Abstract:: Theflowerborderisanapplicationformofthecitylandscaping,withanoutstandingintegratedeffectofnaturalecologyandartisticbeauty.Withthisregard,theflowerbordergainedanincreasinglypopularityandgreatconcerninrecentyears.Inreality,plantmaterialswerethebasiccomponentunitswhichhadahugeimpactonthestructure,performanceandlong-termbenefitsoftheflowerborder.Thus,30typesofflower-mirrorswereinvestigatedinthisstudy.Throughthefieldsurveymethod,statisticsandanalysisabout5aspectsoftheselectedflower-mirrors,ie.categories,varieties,colors,seasonaldynamicsandheightwereconducted.InLishui,theapplicationofflowerborderplantshadshortage,suchasinsufficientwinterseasoneffect,wideapplicationrange,maintenancemanagementneedtobeimproved,fewlandscapeelementscollocation,andsoon.Itwassuggestedthatweshouldpayattentiontoallkindsofplantcollocation,enrichthelandscapeofflowerborder,expandtheapplicationrangeofflowerborder,enrichtheapplicationformofflowerborder,improvetheperpetualornamentalofflowerborder,strengthenthemanagementlevelofmaintenance,andcombinevariousgardenelementstoimprovethepatternofflowersetting.Sequentially,theexistingproblemsandfeasiblesuggestionsintheapplicationoftheflowerborderswereproposedinaaimtoprovidereferencesforthefurtherdevelopmentofthisprosperousformofcitylandscaping.
