Abstract:
Six selected pepper rootstocks (‘Shengen No.2’ ‘Qing Yuan rootstock’ ‘Xinfeng No.4’‘Zhenqiang’‘ Shengen F1’ and ‘Tianjiao F1’) were selected as research objects.Using random group arrange, growth index, yield and quality of pepper continuous cropping were studied. The results showed that fruit height, stem diameter, development degree, fruit number per plant and net photosynthetic rate, the rootstocks of ‘Shengen No.2’were all higher than other rootstocks and ‘Hengjiao No.1’(CK),the total output of ‘Shengen No.2’,the yield equivalent to 667 m2,and the value of 667 m2 were the highest,171.5 kg,4 888.5 kg,6 746.1 RMB,respectively.Compared with‘Qing Yuan rootstock’‘Xinfeng No.4’‘Zhenqiang’ ‘Shengen F1’ ‘Tianjiao F1’ (CK),yield increased 17.9%,2.7%,1.8%,2.2%,9.7%,3.4%,respectively,the highest content of vitamin C in ‘Shengen F1’and ‘Shengen No.2’,96.2,95.4 mg·g-1,respectively,there was no significant difference in vitamin C content among the other 4 pepper rootstocks. The content of vitamin C of ‘Hengjiao No.1’ was the lowest,38.2 mg·g-1,comprehensive analysis,‘Shengen No.2’ rootstock was a good rootstock suitable for grafting pepper in Pengyang area.
