- Abstract:
- The dry seed of Cyphomandra betacea Sendtn. was used as the test material. The method of soaking seeds with warm water which the seeds of Cyphomandra betacea Sendtn. were soaking at 15 ℃,30 ℃,45 ℃,60 ℃,75 ℃ for natural cooling, and soaked for 48 hours by changing water every 8 hours was used to determine the seed germination index. The effects of soaking seeds at different water temperatures on the germination of Cyphomandra betacea Sendtn. seeds were studied in order to provide theoretical and practical basis for the propagation of Cyphomandra betacea Sendtn. seeds. The results showed that the optimum temperature for soaking tomato seeds was 45 ℃,the rotting rate of 4.00%, and abnormal germination rate was 0.67%, the germination rate of 64.00%, germination index was 2.43, and vigor index was 5.24 in 45 ℃.
