- Abstract:
- This study analyzed the effects of vertical greening on air temperature, relative humidity and PM2.5 concentrations at the height of 1.5 m and 6.5 m with field experiment, and a non-greening wall was selected to compare the variation of those factors. The results showed that, there was a negative linear relationship between temperature and PM2.5 concentration (R2=0.729 9),and a positive relationship between relative humidity and PM2.5 concentration (R2=0.696 1) for vertical greening;the mean temperature at the pedestrian level (1.5 m) was obvious lower than that at the 6.5 m height, and the average PM2.5 concentration before 14:00 was high for vertical greening, which was opposite to the non-greening wall;the temperature of vertical greening was 2-3 ℃ lower, and the average PM2.5 concentration was approximately 10% lower than non-greening wall.
