Abstract:
The six melon rootstocks were used as test materials and the grafting method was used.The grafting survival rate,plant characteristics,fruit traits,yield and quality of thin skin melon grafted on different rootstocks were studied in order to provide the basis for selecting high-yield,excellent andl ow-temperature-resistant thin skin melons.The results showed that the resistance of melon plants was improved and the yield was increased by grafting.The best rootstocks of ‘Shengzhen No.1’ and ‘Qingxue Sweet Anvil’ were selected as excellent,high yield and low temperature resistant rootstocks.
