Abstract:: The seed embryo of Malus sieversii was used as experimental materials，through tissue culture method the optimum medium for proliferation and rooting of Malus sieversii were stuided.The results showed that the optimal proliferation medium was MS+0.4 mg·L-1 6-BA+0.1 mg·L-1 NAA.Rooting medium was 1/2 MS+1.0 mg L-1 NAA.The survival rate of seedlings would raise to 65% by hardening-seedling with hydroponic culture before transplant to soil.The research laid a foundation for obtaining plenty of health seedlings in short time，which greatly benefited for wild apple forest ecological reconstruction in Tianshan Mountains，since they were seriously destroyed in past 10 years.
