Abstract:
Quinoa is an annual self-pollinated dicotyledonous plant which originated in Andes highland.It is introduced into China in 2011.However,the yield of quinoa seeds was low and the cultivation of quinoa could not continuously in the same region.Therefore,the cultivation of quinoa in China encountered a severe bottleneck.The facilities technique of quinoa seedling was introduced in this study.Under the conditions of facilities,the growth cycle of quinoa seedling cultivated by facilities technique was about 40 days,and the quinoa seedling could be harvested six to eight times one year.The sowing quantity of quinoa seeds was 2 000 g per 667 m2,and the yield of quinoa seedling was 750 kg per 667 m2.The facilities cultivation of quinoa seedling not only makes up for the inadequacy of quinoa as grain cultivation,but also develops new variety of vegetable.The quinoa seedling meets the needs of people with different tastes for quinoa.The facilities cultivation of quinoa seedling has significant economic benefits and application value.
