Abstract:
The effects of different treatment methods on seed germination of four plants were studied by using four species of Asparagus gobicus,Hippophae rhamnoides,Cotoneaster multiflorus and Clematis fruticosa as test materials,using variable temperature,98% H.2SO.4 and stratified sand storage.In order to explore the germination and dormancy of the four plant seeds.The results showed that the germination percentage of Asparagus gobicus seeds reached 97% at room temperature without dormancy.Hippophae rhamnoides and Cotoneaster multiflorus had dormancy problems at room temperature.The treatment of 98% H.2SO.4 solved the dormancy of Hippophae rhamnoides seed,98% H.2SO.4,25 ℃.The germination rate,germination energy,germination index and vigor index were significantly higher than those under other treatments (P<0.05).After stratified sediment storage at 98 ℃ and 98% H.2SO.4 for 48 hours,the seed coat could break the Cotoneaster multiflorus seed dormancy,of which germination rate,germination potential,germination index,vitality index under the treatment of 98% H.2SO.4 for 45 minutes were the best under all treatments;the germination rate of the seeds of Clematis fruticosa reached 75.33% at room temperature,the germination rate,germination index,germination potential and vigor index were significantly higher than those of the control (P<0.05) and other treatments at 10-15 ℃,which were the better germination conditions.
