Abstract:: Ziziphora clinopodioides was used as materials，AlCl3 colorimetric method was used to determine the content of total flavonoids from Ziziphora clinopodioides.The antioxidant ability was evaluated by DPPH free radical (DPPH?)，hydroxyl radical (?OH) and reduction ability methods.The results showed that the linear range of rutin was 0.009 6-0.033 6 mg?mL-1.The average recovery rate was 99.78% with RSD of 1.30%.The content of total flavonoids from Ziziphora clinopodioides was 40 mg?g-1.Under the same conditions，the total flavonoids from Ziziphora clinopodioides had strong scavenging activities on DPPH? and ?OH and reduction ability in a dose dependent manner，but weaker than vitamin C.This suggests that total flavonoids from Ziziphora clinopodioides has good antioxidant activity in vitro.
