Abstract:
By using solid culture and liquid culture methods, effects of three plant hormones(2,4-D,gibberellin,naphthalene acid) on mycelia growth and metabolism of Pleurotus eryngii Y1 were studied. The results showed that gibberellin and naphthalene acid could promote mycelium growth. In addition,2,4-D promoted the growth of mycelium at the low concentration, and it inhibited mycelium growth at high concentration. In liquid cultures, gibberellin could improve the enzyme activities of polyphenol oxidase and laccase, however, naphthalene acid and 2,4-D reduced the enzyme activities. In particular, gibberellin and 2,4-D could promote mycelial growth of fermentation broth. The isozyme electrophoresis results showed that plant hormones could enhance the enzyme activities of esterase and SOD.
