Abstract:
In this study,a gene encoding WRKY transcription factor was cloned from Ammopiptanthus mongolicus,and it was named as AmWRKY53.The sequence contained an open reading frame (ORF) of 1 065 bp,which encoded peptide with 354 amino acids.There were one WRKYGQK domain and one C2HC zinc finger motif in AmWRKY53〖STBZ〗,so it belonged to type Ⅲ WRKY transcription factor.Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analyses revealed that the AmWRKY53 was induced by drought and high salt stress.The pPZP212-[STBX]AmWRKY53 expression vector was constructed and laid the foundation for further study of AmWRKY53.
