Abstract:
Sand pear is one of the most important cultivated fruit trees in Hubei Province.Refoliation and reflorescence were caused by pear early defoliation and lead to decrease percentage of fertile fruit,affected the yield and economic benefits.This study was to provide technical support for the prevention and control the early defoliation,refoliation and reflorescence.The early defoliation,refoliation and reflorescence of 32 pear orchard in Hubei Province were investigated and analyzed in this paper.The results showed different pear cultivars,waterlogging,high temperature and drought,pests and diseases of pear,pear orchard closed canopy,chlorosis caused by deficiency iron,age of the tree and pear orchard management conditions were major cause of early defoliation of pear cultivars planted in Hubei Province.According to early defoliation and the incidence of the main cause,resistance varieties to early defoliation,reasonable construction orchard,built irrigation and drainage systems,integrated control disease and pest,deep plowing soil,strengthen nutrition,enhance vigour and spraying plant growth regulators were proposed to control early defoliation.
